Is Your Game Only As Good As Your Serve?

Last night, I had a "blind tennis date" with an awesome gal I found on Craigslist. We had a good time - warmed up for about 40 minutes then played two sets. I did pretty good at 6-0 and 6-3, which gives me a boost of confidence going into my league next week.

I live in Largo, FL and am looking for another beginner or "returner"

Hello all! I live in Largo, FL and am wanting to get back into the "swing of things" (Tennis of course). It's been a long time since I played regularly and miss it. I want to start playing weekly. Need to find someone who is either a newer player or coming back into the sport. I play softball weekly and enjoy it but tennis is much more physical and I want that. All I can say is was I right or was I right? Roger Federer just made history by winning the French Open as I knew he would. He played superbly - served well and Soderling did not have the game he used against Nadal. This was a pretty tough one to call.

Does Soderling not show up after the massive victory against Nadal? Or does he put things right back into 5th gear and play a highly aggressive, high risk tennis?

Nadal Ousted

I just had to write to say I cannot believe Nadal is out of the French Open. Soderling played the best tennis of his life no doubt, but Nadal was not playing well at all. It was strange to see Nadal constantly on the defense and Soderling was serving phenomenally. A huge upset to say the least and I guess this pretty much paves the way for Federer to win the French.
