A pusher can be one of the most annoying types of players to be up against. Because of the way they play, beating them requires a great deal of mental toughness.
How do you be mentally tough enough to beat a pusher then? Well, let’s get into it!
Why is a Pusher SOOO Annoying?
Pushers are a huge threat to us and the way we are used to playing. They make us work really hard and challenge our patience. They thrive on us missing and making mistakes. Probably the…

This was too big to put in my status box so I'm sticking it in my blog.
Found out two things this weekend. One, as pretty as my backhand is I should play the forehand side in doubles. Unless my partners backhand is an utter liability. Two, my doubles racquet is my EXO3 93 Graphite and my singles racquet is my Diablo tour mid.

...But sometimes the fire in your belly goes out and there may be nothing that you can do about it. I don’t think that this is ever something that accidentally happens to people. I believe that the decision to quench the fire is always a choice, sometimes made unconsciously, sometimes with full awareness. In Amelie Mauresmo’s case, she seems to be fully aware that…

Last week I played tennis where temperatures started out in the (get ready for this) 40's! Here in Houston that is
FREEEEEZZZZING! OK, I know. That's not really very cold at all. In fact, on both mornings, it went from being a little chilly at the beginning of each match to being pretty darn warm by the end. But I live in Texas because I like hot weather and the thought of wearing tights under a tennis skirt - Yuck! Not the tennis fashion statement I'm…

...Every so often the American public becomes fascinated with the destruction of a life. We pull up seats and take in the spectacle. For a while there it was Jon and Kate Gosselin who clearly got more than they had bargained for when they pimped out their children for fame and money. The latest spectacle is Tiger Woods and his apparent mistresses. Each day a new mistress emerges.…

What a great week it has been.
Robin Soderling showed the world that he has alot to offer and that he is one player to watch out for.
Fernando Verdasco showed that he still needs to improve the mental aspect of his game if he wants to be able to play at this level in the future.
Rafael Nadal who wanted to do well and who never gave up, unfortunately could never be aggressive enough to make any difference.
Andy Murray with all the pressure of being in…
