Mauresmo announced her retirement
Just ran into this announcement. Apparently, she announced her retirement today at a press conference in France. I'm not exactly a big fan of her, but she had her winning moments.

In retrospect I liked to watch her game. Mauresmo was an all court player with a nice 1HBH. It was great to see that in a woman player as opposed to all the baseline bashing that dominates womens tennis now. The wimbledon final that she played with Heinin was a nice departure from the "big babe tennis that dominates today.
