Tennis designs for tee shirts, wall placards, wallpaper/screensaver on cellphones

Hi Tennis community,

I've been playing  and involved with tennis for over 3 decades. I create designs for tee shirts, wall placards or wallpapers for your cellphones. Some are tennis related, some are on contemporary topics, clever sayings, funny, racy and even religious. I am prompt, reliable and reasonably priced. If you're interested contact me on here and we can discuss your needs (I do not do custom designs though). Here's a sample.

Tennis in Kits

Hi all,

My name is David, I'm English, here in Vancouver for summer. I am looking for a tennis partner to play with in Kitsilano. I played allot when I was younger at club level, however i've had about 8 years off but am looking to get back into playing and enjoying the game.

Let me know on here, if anyone is keen for a hit,

David.

3.0 player looking for partner in Albany area

42 year old male self rated 3.0 just finished my first mens league.  Looking to improve to 3.5, so would love to find someone nearby to play on a consistent basis.  I work from home most days, so can usually be flexible on meeting times.  Prefer late mornings or afternoons, just not too late in the day.

Nalbandian’s Disqualification – and Five Others!

David Nalbandian’s disqualification from Sunday’s final of the AEGON Championships at Queen’s Club in London is, without question, one of the most unusual conclusions to a tennis match – and tennis tournament – in the history of the sport. Leading Marin Cilic 7-6, 3-4, the Argentine kicks a wooden advertising base surrounding the service linesman, breaking it and causing part of the sign to jam into the linesman’s shin, causing a bloody one-inch gash in his leg. Chair umpire Fergus Murphy…

Why is Sara Errani So Tough to Beat?

Former champions don’t always make good prognosticators, as Steffi Graf, Chris Evert and Martina Navratilova proved when they predicted Serena Williams would win the French Open. The legendary trio was no doubt surprised, perhaps even embarrassed, when 13-time Grand Slam champ…

How to go FROM GOOD TO GREAT in any sport, Part 3/3

How to go FROM GOOD TO GREAT, Part 3

As seen in the second article, the figure-8 body motion is undeniably what separates the great or natural athletes from the good ones. But, more importantly, anyone can learn this “magic move” and easily apply it to their sport or activity.

So how is it done - this figure-8?

Most of us need some help when it comes to…

First Main Draw 16&under Level 3 Tournament ever and win

Level 3 tournaments as you know are tournaments of a higher skill level. I had recently won a 14&under level 3 1st round in GA. That tournament was a sign of approvement. This past weekend June 9 I entered a level 3 16&under tournament in Jacksonville, FL. I live in Atlanta, GA. This past week I began my workout training with CoachV, not because of the one tournament, but because I want to get fitter for tennis. The workout required for me to get up at 6:30 am every morning except…

Is "Racquet Back!" Still Relevant?

TennisOne's Joe Dinoffer says that the one-time joke on tennis pros used to be, “Racquet back, bend your knees, that’ll be twenty dollars please.” And I'm inclined to agree. At least in the old days, this was more or less the standard of teaching tennis. After all, it worked quite well for millions of players in the 1960s and '70s, didn't it?…

Free Tennis Fitness Program for Your Shoulders

Hi all,

This is my first blog post at tennispolis, and I really enjoy this community:)

I will share with you a basic shoulder prevention program that every tennis player should do. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or a pro player. It's important for every tennis player to do these exercises. Many tennis players feel pain in their shoulders, and that is because of poor technique or overuse of the shoulder. In other words, your rotator cuff muscles are weak and…

Level 3 1st Round Win

Level 3 tournaments are not any ordinary tournaments that anyone can play. This is the higher than average players. This is where there are only good players. The ranking you posses must be high enough in order to get in. I haven't got in a single level 3 tournament this year now until June 2.

It was somewhere in Alpharreta in this very, very rich neighborhood. I had played level 3's the previous year but I had never won a match. This place was filled brand new million dollar houses.…

What About Ana?

This former World No. 1 has failed to live up to early expectations following her 2008 French Open title. Still, Ana Ivanovic's game is a pattern of solid strokes and aggressive strategies. An offensive baseline attacker, Ivanovic also possesses a big, if unsteady serve. Inspired by Monica Seles, Ivanovic makes her living on the baseline, slugging out flat forehands similar to Maria Sharapova and her…
