Of course, my game is identical to Ivan Lendl's!
Every single part? Serve, forehand and backhand? There was a time in my high school days I tried to copy all of them, but it seemed the backhand was the one that worked for me. I could never control that forehand loop takeback and always be on time. Do you "flex" the racquet as you toss the ball up on the serve?

No.  I don't think I do.  I have a very particular style of play - it actually matches my poker style too.  In poker it is called "tight aggressive" which means that you play tight, mostly good hands - not much bluffing, but when you get the big hands, you bet big and/or try to trap people.  A "loose" poker player plays a wide range of hands (good ones and bad ones) and bluff more.

In tennis, I'm somewhat defensive, but when I have my opportunity, I go for it.

I think the closest player on the tour is Murray.  And yes, I'm a fan of his, but I have never modeled my game on his...  Maybe I should.  I could learn a drop shot.

Federer. I actually became a fan of his after I 1st started playing and decided I didn't like my primarily slice bh. I started playing in 2002 and after I decided that I loved the game the plan was to turn me into a player like the 2003 US Open Champion Roddick,  with the big serve and sledgehammer forehand. The only problem was my one hand bh. A teacher hearing my disappointment told me to "watch Federer" and that's wheere the fandom and emulation began and continues to this day. The only problem is when I start to try the mindbending shots like Fed. After one or two go in the I think I own the shot and I give away a set with unforced errors!

Also I can't serve like Fed I can mime the ball bouce and toss but I can't keep that deep of a backbend or my back foot on the ground I serve from a more vertical plateau.

Very interesting change, from Roddick to Federer. So what's your service like then?

p-p-p-p-p-p-p-p-poker face!!

I love it. You know, Murray doesn't have a poker face. Fed kinda used to have one. Mecir had a poker face.
Federer and Nadal. is there anyone else that's important?

I think Kuerten, Edberg, Gasquet, Laver on the one hander. Fed's backhand isn't as good as theirs.

Sampras on the serve for sure.

If you want to argue about single handed backhands then lets thrown in, the Lefty Peter Korda and john Mcenroe and Pancho Gonzales. But if you want to talk about better I think your wrong because in todays game you have to be beyond the abilities of past players.

No doubt those two had great ones. Korda's was a super monster. Mac's passing shots were incredible.
