Congrats to the qualifiers at Bad Gastein, Austria and Bastad, Sweden!

Players in the qualifying rounds of the WTA Nürnberger Gastein Ladies 11 in Bad Gastein, Austria and the ATP Skistar Sweden Open in Bastad, Sweden had to make it through three rounds of qualifying in order to make it into the main draws. John Isner breaks "Casino Curse" at Newport, Rhode Island



American John Isner broke the 34 year old “Casino Curse” by winning the Campbell’s Hall of Fame Championships title at Newport, Rhode Island in a straight set victory against Olivier Rochus 6-3, 7-6(6). The “Casino Curse” extended back to 1976 and was a curse on all number one seeds. Vijay Amritraj was the last number one seed to win the grass court event at Newport.
