I don't know what you people think, but I didn't like the behavior of Alla Kudryavtseva.
At the post match interview she said:
"Why was I so happy to beat her? I didn't like her outfit - can I put it that way? "I wasn't afraid to play her out on the court, so why should I be… Continue

Jelena Jankovic, second seed for the women's singles, was in no mood to suffer the same kind of embarrassment as the eliminated Maria Sharapova and the reprieved Ana Ivanovic in negotiating awkward second-round tasks.
Jankovic needed just 57 minutes to get past her Spanish opponent Carla Suarez Navarro,…

Alla Kudryavtseva defeated 3th seed Maria Sharapova
6-2 6-4
"Sharapova, the ladies' number three seed, made a series of unforced errors in the first set to hand it to Kudryavtseva 6-2. It was no better for Sharapova in the second as her fellow Russian took it 6-4 with this forehand…

Janko Tipsarevic, known for his tattooes, wraparound glasses and creativity on the court outlasted Roddick 6-7 (7-5), 7-5, 6-4, 7-6 (7-4). Roddick served 27 aces, but he was 0-for-8 on break point chances and he squandered three set points in the final set. It was the first time he had lost at the All England Club…

Maria Sharapova, wearing a glamorous tuxedo ensemble and dangling Tiffany earrings, was bounced 6-2, 6-4 in the second round by 154th-ranked Russian compatriot and Boca Raton resident Alla Kudryavtseva, who was making just her second appearance at the All England Club.

Marat Safin defeated 3th seed Novak Djokovic

On an afternoon that saw Serbia's Novak Djokovic bid farewell to the All England Club, countrywoman Ana Ivanovic narrowly avoided the same fate after tenaciously clawing her way back from two match points down against Frenchwoman Nathalie Dechy.

Maria Sharapova's loss to Alla Kudryavtseva has to be one of the most shocking defeats I've ever witnessed. I've been reading the stories (among them
Kudryavtseva dissing Sharapova's tux) and I didn't realize Alla has had some…
