Alla should learn to show some respect

I don't know what you people think, but I didn't like the behavior of Alla Kudryavtseva.

At the post match interview she said:

"Why was I so happy to beat her? I didn't like her outfit - can I put it that way? "I wasn't afraid to play her out on the court, so why should I be afraid to see her in the locker room. If she wants to say, 'I don't like what you said' I'll just tell her that it's my opinion.

"No one knows her well on the tour. She is not a very talkative girl and not very outgoing."

I think she could show some respect for the player who won Wimbledon at age of 17! Where was she then?? Her best result before this year was first round!?

Lets see what else: Maria has two more Grand Slam titles - Australian Open and US Open, she won 19 Sony Ericsson WTA Tour singles titles and 3 Sony Ericsson WTA Tour doubles titles, she was world No.1, she is ranked 61 on "The Celebrity 100" by Forbes - a rating reflecting the influence of personalities worldwide. She was named #19 in FHM's "100 Sexiest Women in the World 2005", named #8 in FHM magazine's "100 Sexiest Women in the World 2006", ranked #17 on the Maxim magazine Hot 100 of 2007 list. She is one of the most beautiful girls on tour and definitely a girl with great style!

OK, and you Alla? You were born the same year 1987. What have you done so far? You had one good day and that was yesterday. I don't think that's more important then all these successful years Maria had.

You girl should definitely learn to show some respect.

This is what a real star and a great person do after the match she lost:

“I guess it wasn’t my day,” “She just did everything better than I did. She played much better, she hit the ball harder. She served and returned better. On grass, those are two important elements."

That's a lady!

Great post!
I kind of like her sassyness - but it seemed a bit much.
i chalk this up to the bitterness at masha for leaving mother russia.

That's right Svetlana, style and grace is worth more on and off the court than an attitude (worth more in sponsorships too). I agree with you completely.
