Andy Murray - The Story so far....... (Part - 2)

In the second part, we discuss Murray's rise to stardom with a whopping six titles and the No.2 ranking, that he held for a short period of time and also the expectations set for the 2010 season.

When columnist Des Kelly teased Murray about Scotland's absence from the 2006 World Cup, Murray, unaware of the consequences, scacastically said, “I'll be supporting anyone but England.” Unfortunately, another journalist fabricated a story out of the comments suggesting Murray was… Continue

10 Most Emotional Victories Of All Times- Part 2

Sports stage one of the finest display of a range of emotions that is at times absent in even the best of Operas, infact it can sometimes be more emotional than the second act of Aida. After all, for a sportsperson, the playground becomes an inseperable part of his or her character which sees him through some of the most difficult phases in life. Tennis, being an individual sport, brings this sentimental element with grace and vivacity, and sometimes with tears and ecstatic… Continue

10 Most Emotional Victories of All Times - Part 1

It is often said that there are a few things in life that should not be compared - pain, emotions, love and sometimes personal achievements. However, true to form, we all believe in categorizing things, making countdowns, best and worst lists. We all blame others for being judgemental at some point in our life and yet secretly follow the same pattern towards others with equal passion and tenacity.

Actually, it's a human nature to compare and extensify one's efforts to yield the best… Continue

If so, then that’s perfect because we are going to talk about that in this article!

Tennis court nets for sale

I live in a subdivision in Flowery Branch, GA and recently got our tennis courts resurfaced and were able to get new nets in the process. We have 5 refurbished tennis court nets for sale (no poles). They are used but in good shape. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in buying them or know someone that might want to purchase them.

Thank you for your help

How to Deal With a Loss or Bad Match

We have all had matches where we lost and were really upset afterwards. In this article, I am going to go into how to not only deal with the upset of a bad match or loss, but how to make sure you grow as a competitor out of that experience as well.

When we lose, we love to do a few things. We love to have pity parties for ourselves and we even invite others. We have tantrums. We kick, berate and beat ourselves up. Familiar? Keep reading!

First, none of these approaches are… Continue

A Year in Review/ A Year in Preview

So how about that 2009 season, huh?

That's my "review" part!

I wanted to switch it up from last year when I looked back on all the calls I made over the season—the good, the bad and the ugly—and offer a brief look back on '09, as well as give some predictions for 2010. Will they happen? I don't know, I'm not Nostradamus! But what would a year be without me making some calls, however outlandish? Here's a few things that I think will happen in 2010:

The year 2009

The tennis year of 2009 started of as the first year ever when people started to doubt Roger Federers ability. Discussions were being held all over the world, in the magazines, newspapers and online. Was Roger going to be able to win a slam again after the devastating loss at the Australian Open where he shared his most inner feelings with the world. For me personally, 2009 was the first time I thought I saw a new side of Roger. One that was very arrogant, one without patience and respect for… Continue

Tennis for fun in North Raleigh

Any beginner to intermediate level players interested in meeting up to play some tennis in the North Raleigh. Singles or Doubles would be fine with me. Probably would need to find the other 3 for doubles, nobody I know is that into tennis.
We could hit at some of the free courts or there's a couple in my apartment complex.

You can reach me at nipponscott@yahoo.com
