- Steven White, author of "Bring Your Racquet" and "Teaching Tennis:Protocol for Instructors", is certified with the Professional Tennis Registry, the worlds’ largest international organization of tennis teachers and coaches. He is a lifelong competitive player and enthusiast who has been teaching tennis since the early 1980’s. Steven studied physical education with an emphasis in recreation while on an athletic scholarship at Francis Marion College in Florence, South Carolina, where he was the #1 player on the men’s tennis team. He later transferred to Coastal Carolina University near Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where he continued his education while teaching at the Myrtle Beach Tennis Club. Steven is currently teaching at Dutch Fork Tennis Center, Irmo, SC..

World number three Andy Murray returns to match play this weekend at Indian Wells. He could take over the number two spot in the ATP rankings by reaching the finals. But there’s a catch. This changing of the guard can only take place if world #2 Roger Federer loses before the semis. Wonder what the odds of that happening are?
