Patrick, to start a discussion, I recommend you use the add discussion link above.  It is extremely hard to have a discussion in the Comment Wall.

Thanks! And great idea by the way!  Mark

I charge $7-10. It's not worthwhile to me or the wear and tear on my clamps to do it for less. Plus, after doing 400+ racquets, I'm bored doing them.

Racquet stringing labor price discussion.  How much do you charge for stringing labor? or how much does your stringer charge ?  Lets start a discussion.

Stringing Poly about 10 lbs looser.  As a stringer I have helped large number of players with selecting string but when it comes to my own rackets I am stubborn.  For many years I used Gamma TNT 18g (I was getting it free) but enjoyed the playability but not the durability.  For the past 5 or so years I have been using NXT 17g pretty exclusively and enjoy the comfort and power it generates.  Recently I wanted to experience the poly feel and decided I would take my own advise and string looser.  I took my Babolat pure storm that I normally string at 56 to 58 lbs and strung the 17g poly at 46 lbs.  It played pretty well and it didn't feel so hard on my arm.  I found that I hit a few angles that I didn't have with the NXT.  Sometimes you just need to try something new.

Sorry, it's called Genesis twisted razor. You're right.
I love the head prestige frames but I was looking for a little more power and spin so I got a couple of this frames to try and used diff strings till I found the right combination. @ 55 lbs the feel, control and spin is very nice. It helps a lot on second serves, easier to produce angles and overall great combo. Same feel of the pro hurricane, but the strings don't go bad after the coating rubs off.

Razor Edge? What brand is that? Wow, you're the first guy to mention using the TGK 237.2. I'll ask my shop guy. He deals with that stuff.
