Madison Square Garden showdown: who will win? Mac? Lendl? Agassi? Sampras?

I pick Mac to win over Lendl. I make this choice is based on activity level. Lendl is going to be rusty compared to Mac. I can't believe I said that.

And I have Sampras to win over Agassi. Agassi had better start returning nasty against Sampras for anything different. He has a score to settle. But I pick Pete.

What are your predictions, Tennisopolis'ers???

when does it start Tim and is it on US tele?

I think I remember seeing Lendl working very hard to get back to a certain level, I expect Mac as you say to win but it could be interesting.

Lendl doesn't have that super fast whip on the forehand yet. When he gets that with a little more rip on the serve, then Mac's footwork is too slow. Mac and Borg looked awfully slow footed when they played in Boston. Borg's hair and face was drenched.

I agree entirely with your picks. I am more certain that Pete will kill Andre. He wants revenge for the comments in Indian Wells. He is motivated, not to mention still thin. :-)
