The Termite Tennis Club for male Seniors 65 and up is looking for new members. The club plays mens doubles every weekday morning at Rengsdorff Park in Mt View. Players range from 2.5 to 3.5. The club membership is over 30 players. Please contact philsmall123@comcast.net for more information

First Time Back Out

I took a week off to get a few things done, and visited the fam over the last several days and got to get out and play for the first time in over a year, maybe even closer to two. It felt so good to get out there, I realized I really missed it - and I am really out of tennis shape as I'm pretty sore. Would love to start playing more frequently again, so I am hoping to find some people to play with.

US OPEN Wednesday-Day Session

I went to the US Open yesterday with Mike S from the Brooklyn Tennisopolis group.

He had a extra Day Session ticket available, so we made a day out of it.

We saw Nikolay Davydenko vs Dudi Sela and also Jo-Wilfried Tsonga vs Santiago Ventura.

I think Ventura is someone to keep your eye on.

The sun was pretty intense in the stands. We could only watch a set from each match before had to scramble for shade.
