Tennisopolis : Tennis Social Network

SOPA and PIPA these bills would censor or shut down tennisopolis!!!!!

Tell Congress: Don’t censor the web! http://www.google.com/takeaction/

Millions of Americans oppose SOPA and PIPA because these bills would censor the Internet and slow economic growth in the U.S.

#sopa #pipa

Two bills before Congress, known as the Protect IP Act (PIPA) in the Senate and the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) in the House, would censor the Web and impose harmful regulations on American business. Millions of Internet users and entrepreneurs already oppose SOPA and PIPA.

The Senate will begin voting on January 24th. Please let them know how you feel. Sign this petition urging Congress to vote NO on PIPA and SOPA before it is too late.

Complete & Sign the petition to save tennisopolis.com

I see people on both sides of this bill and future of the internet and the laws that are used. Why would this law shut down this site? I see there are ads up on this site. I am interested becuase I can't sign a petition unless I understand more details of Sopa. Maybe you could help? Thanks Kenny

Has to do with monopoly. Of internet access & free usage. That's why I signed.

I just signed the petition. I can't believe those Puritanical nuts are at it again.

So they would really try to classify sites as "foreign" and "domestic"? Idiotic! It would definitely harm Tennisopolis and thousands of other user based sites.

Thanks for posting this coachv. I was meaning to post a graphic on our Main page, but my trip to nyc got in the way. I have contacted all three of my representatives, and encourage everyone to do the same. There is nothing wrong with protecting copyrights, but these bills are written far too broadly. They give too much power and control over internet content to major media groups, and do not provide due process.

Call your REP!!!

Will,

I already shared this on my facebook wall of nearly 4k people.  I hope this helped out, and will do so on my other accounts.  Have a great weekend.
