I've used various grips over the many years. I still prefer leather although the best, Fairway is no longer made. I've tried what's recently available commercially but they all lack the quality. What grip do you use on your racquet and why?

yes sir, have them on my sticks

most of the players i know use them. IMO nothing beats leather grip for feel, consistency in shape and durability. add a decent overgrip over and add the needed absorbency and tackiness to grip and rip.  :-)
tennis warehouse private label leather grip
yes, helps to feel the bevels much better and set that grip, and overgrip softens just enough.

I hear ya.  Leather is true to its owner; it doesn't mask any mistakes in the shot.

I use the stock leather grips from TW (the warehouse), usually try to order them all at the same time for consistency.

the best leather is klippermate leather grips. $5
CoachV, where do you purchase the Klippermate brand grips? I don't see them just anywhere. Thanks!
Thanks Hal. I didn't happen to see this brand carried by TW, Midwest or any of the other well known internet retailers. Thanks again.
no problem, I use the TW brand solid grip, great price
Leather grip underneath a soft wilson or gamma overgrip is awesome.
Wow, I had no idea that there were so many people still using leather.  I know that leather comes standard on the Dunlop McEnroe frame.  I just use the standard grip that comes on Wilson KBlade 98 with an overgrip.  Maybe I'm missing something.
