On Sunday it was Ana Ivanovic and Serena Williams who took the first step toward a projected quarterfinal meeting and on Monday it was Jelena Jankovic and Venus Williams who did the same, grinding past their first round opponents at Roland Garros. Patty Schnyder was also among Day 2's winners.
Third seed Jankovic was the first of the two Sony Ericsson WTA… Continue

Check out this Kia ad. If you're a sci-fi geek you'll notice the Voltron references big time. Apparently Kia is recalling it's ad for containing some innappropriate content. I don't see it. The content is weird but I don't see it as inappropriate. Then again I suppose Nadal shoving his foot up the a#$ of a mini Nadal midget while transforming into a anime style super robot was a little over the top...…

Add me to the list of tennis fans expecting Roger Federer to pick up the title at the French Open. And if you'd like, vote here if you agree or disagree. Here's how I expect the tournament to shake out before Roger takes the title with my men's quarterfinal breakdown:…
She's only won one clay-court title in her career (on Har-Tru, no less), but Maria Sharapova (above) has to be thanking the draw gods heading into the French Open this year. I'm actually picking her to come through in my quarterfinal predictions! So landing in the middle of my favorite thoughts about the French involves two of the most captivating and charismatic players of the past couple of decades, Jennifer Capriati and Gustavo Kuerten, respectively, and my favorite young player—my soon-to-be 10-year-old nephew, Carlos Smith. (Remember that name!)…
