Bought tickets for the open a few weeks ago. Tried to get finals tixs, but they were sold out.
If there are no major rain delays, I should be watching the Women's semifinal and the Men 's quarterfinals. If you haven't been out there, your missing a great show.

Howdy!
Does anybody want to play tennis in the Sherman Oaks area Saturday morning?
I am a solid beginner! I have played for a long time, but not very often.

Roger Federer lost another three-set match and, perhaps, his longtime grip on No. 1.
Croatia's Ivo Karlovic defeated Federer 7-6 (8/6), 4-6, 7-6 (5/7) and that means Rafael Nadal can overtake the Swiss star and top the ATP rankings for the first time with a triumph in Sunday's final.…

I'm off in the morning to test my mettle under Tucson's desert sun. Why Tucson, why?
My 4.0 team won the Northern New Mexico region and have the pleasure of playing the winners from the El Paso, Phoenix, Flagstaff and Tucson regions this weekend. We have a pretty strong team but we have to play 6 matches in 3 days, and being that we are all a little long in the tooth, we may not make it through Sunday.
Wish me luck. I'll see you on the other…

Maria Sharapova going three I understand: Her arm's about to fall off, which is sad because it's going to be tough to navigate around that as her career goes on. She just pulled out of the Olympics and is…
