One of the best Mac performances I have on tape is Mac playing Noah 1989 Davis Cup match. He was serving some serious heat and hitting incredible angles! I played that tape forwards and backwards to death.

Yeah, seeing a youtube of hitting with Nadal is weird, too. You can really see he can still work the ball on Rafa.

I had the privilege of stringing for Mr McEnroe at Wimbledon last year. Unfortunately I didn't get to meet him. Its always cool to see him hitting on the practice courts up there though; he usually hits with some of the top juniors and its so different seeing his unique style stacking up against the modern game.

Dean, I agree. They have the most interesting things to say. So many of the other teams are just play by play announcers. These guys always have something interesting to say.

I just joined the group. I love the photo, as it depicts Mac in his prime and shows his Kramer Pro Staff, the same stick I used in HS and for the first year on my college team. Great racquet, like swinging a heavy baseball bat!
Being a lefty, I modeled a lot of my game on Mac, wish I had his hands though.
Mac rocks!

Great stuff. Emotion-wise, he is a bad example for a 10 year old trying to learn the game. Love the guy, but I'm still trying to purge some emotion from my game.
To a line judge: "You can't see as well as these f@cking flowers - and they're f*cking plastic." Nice.
