Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
Played college tennis and was an instructor. Stopped playing for many years but started up again a few years ago and re-kindled my love of the game. Currently play at a "tweener" 4-4.5 level.
Favorite pro tennis player(s):
Old school: Connors, McEnroe, Vilas
Current: Federer, Djokovic
My tennis skill (please check your NTRP if you know it):
NTRP 4.0, NTRP 4.5
On the court, I am a:
doubles partner, singles player, returner, two-hander, gamer, top-spinner, all courter
My favorite local courts:
Boston Common, Cambridgeport/River Street, MIT or anywhere close to a T stop.
Sounds like we might be pretty close, both in skill level and location. I'm just a short walk from Riverside Courts and Hoyt Field in Cambridge. MIT also works, but I assume it's not open to non-MITers? I'm interested in playing anytime, but after work and on weekends are ideal.
Let me know - I'd love to hit around or play sometime.
We're running a fun Aussie 09 Bracket Challenge for tennis fans. Make your predictions and follow along. This is the link. Please share this link with any of your friends on Tennisopolis and beyond.
