2012 US OPEN SEMIFINALS: Murray/ Berdych and Djokovic/Ferrer. Any upsets?

Berdych has a winning head to head against Murray. Ferrer has a relatively close head to head against Djokovic. Does this even matter?

Well, if Berdych can string three back to back performances (Fed, then Murray, then Djoko/Ferrer) he'd be a US Open champ.

Or can Ferrer outscrap Djoker and make it a long duel? Does the guy ever get tired? lol

Or will it be the remainder of the Top 4 to head into the finals, with Lendl looking on to Murray's first Slam win following Olympic success?

Ok, I have to admit, I was pretty upset with how they handled Saturday.  Immediately, they postponed the Women's Final due to bad weather.  They then allowed Berdych and Murray to play which was a horrendous match at best.  Then, when it looked like a tornado was going to hit the area, they stop the Djoko/Ferrer match with Ferrer leading 5-2.  Djoko comes back Sunday with clear weather, no wind and destroys Ferrer.  If I were Berdych, I would be filing all kinds of complaints that they had to play, while the defending champ got to postpone and play in much better circumstances.  Totally bogus.  They should have cancelled the whole day, and let everyone play on even footing.  Smells like favoritism for Djoko to me.

I hear that!  I also think Ferrer could scream bloody murder because the weather was maintaining its horrible level and did not worsen until much later.  They cleared the stands when the sun was out for goodness sake.  Ferrer may have been able to get up 2 sets to none if they let them play in the same stuff Murray - Berdych played in.

Dealing with the weather has always been a part of tennis and the US Open officials intentionally took this advantage away from Ferrer.  I bet if Nole was up 5-2, they would not have stopped it so soon.  Do you agree?

Nobody wanted Ferrer in the final. Not the officials either.
