With the Cinci masters concluding earlier today, who do you think has the best shot at winning the 2012 USO?

My picks are

1. Roger (I was going Novak then Roger but this old man showed that he can still play. He bageled Novak earlier and then beat him in a second set tie break to clinch the Cinci title)

2. Novak

3. Murray? With Nadal out of the picture and a recent win in Wimbledon over Roger, this dude is primed for that major breakthrough.

Anyone besides these three are far outside chances... Raonic maybe? DelPo even less of a chance with a possible wrist injury

i think  you got Murray all wrong. he will be out by the round of 16 or first.

and at the same time i want him to win.

I agree with Coach on that one.  Murray will be out early.  I just don't know that either Roger or Novak will win.  But when I look at everyone else in the field, nobody really jumps out.  So, with that, I think I will actually say Novak has the better chance.

Depends on who peaked early possibly, meaning Fed. So that would make Djoko the heir apparent. Murray has a knee injury and looked bad losing to Chardy. Can he and Ivan turn it around?

Well, looking at the Cincy match more closely, I am going to go with Fed to win it. Until Djokovic fixes his second serve (too many double faults, sits up) and gets more aggresivenness out of the first, I can't go with him.

The only question with Fed is not having a flat day on the final, semifinal, etc..

I like Mr. Roger, and thought Delpo would be dark horse but did know about wrist injury. Could Tsonga finally complete a run? Great year for a shocker to grab his first GS title. Izzy would be one of my choices but he has disappeared lately.
