So here is the scoop. So there is a Guy that Plays & Teaches Tennis AT sandy springs tennis center near my new job at concourse athletic club. My Tennis instruction lessons & Classes website for Marietta ga...

We both do work for another networking group similar to tennisopolis except its completely local.  my Director at the CAC just finished playing a tournament. He trained and everything. the director kept talking about the tournament everyday at work gave me the itches to play one. ,I began thinking about how to accomplish that so " hey why don't I do an exhibition match against the other pro/local competition and kill 2 birds with one stone.

the Match was presented to the other pro and accepted.

So the Match is ON May 28th 7pm at  Roswell Tennis center in Roswell area. I start training this Monday. I will hear later on this week where it will be played.

I have heard that the person doesn't think much of me and plans on beating my pants off. Well im not gay so I will just keep my pants on, win  & leave it at that.

I will be sporting Midnight Machete Apparel for the Tennis Match.

Great get beaten by a kid. or Tear the soul from a youth hopeful. those were the possibly out comes. Nothing good would have come of it. };-)>

This match coming May 30th is " Supposed " to be a 5.0 VS a 5.0 exhibition. But 5.0 players are very rare here in Atlanta. Even the finals I lost in November the player was a 5.0 player but I didn't have my volleys & my fitness sucked.  & currently I think my fitness its worse.

My work out schedule is for this week is run for 10 min, Jump Some rope, use my Etcheberry swing, Practive serve and Play some sets against co-workers. that should be enough for 1 match.  I will take Pics of my weight scale starting today before the workout.

Stay tuned in the next hour for the weigh in for monday

OK the Monday Weigh in is...................................................................

Hi William and Richard - thanks for agreeing to do a match as part of our our Memorial Day pick up game. It's always a pleasure to have pros come out.  The location and directions are below. We would like for you two to start at 9 a.m.  East Cobb Tennis members will be invited to come out and watch you play. There are 4 courts and there will be pick up games running on the other courts. Following the match you're welcome to stay and hit with us.    A first and 2nd place ribbon will be awarded to the winner and runner up. I'm copying Crystal who is hosting the pick up game.  If anything has changed on your end, please let us know as soon as possible.  Thanks,   Kyle 770-993-0270      Crystal   330-388-8414

today's Weigh in

Nice, you are getting leaner and meaner.
Hope your topspin backhand is getting meaner =)
Stay down and stay planted.  Generate power from the legs; they can't lift or move around during the stroke (in the follow thru it is fine to rotate thru the ball) - this is what my pro is always telling me.

If you got a single NO = (in the follow thru it is fine to rotate thru the ball)

Double Backhand YES = (in the follow thru it is fine to rotate thru the ball)

The single is an art form not a compensation. = Double handed backhands.

The Single is more versatile than the Double. IT has all the same swings and Shots plus reach.

Yeah, but as a double-handed BH guy, I will say that it varies from player to player.  For instance Nole's 2hbh is more versatile right now than Fed's 1hbh.  In general, the 2hbh may give up a bit of versatility but gain a lot in the consistency department.  If the 1hbh is not timed perfectly, it can be difficult to control.
2hbh is more stable and much better for returns. I would also venture to say can also create great better angles. I love my one hander, but wish I kept my 2h return.
