"hello, i'd love to meet people to play with (and by that i mean find some justification for the $200 permit fee.) i'm about a 3-3.5, and i can play evenings and weekends, probably just like everyone else. "
"Just joined this site. Looking for a tennis partner to play some fun matches. My rating is about 4.0 - 4.5. I am available during weekends and we can play by ear. Depending on the weather of course.
Get in touch with me if you are interested…"
Hi,I work near Astoria. Would like to play weekday mornings.
Let me know what may be good for you.
I want to improve my game. dont know my rating, but can volley.
I'm 40 something. Like to play for fun and exercise
I am also a beginner who loves to play, I have taken classes at USTA and used to play 2x a week with a group in Alley Pond before moving here to Astoria. I get out of work by noon the latest so I am available to play in the afternoons during the week and weekends. Let me know if you would like to meet up sometime. And thanks for starting the group.
I'm a beginner too, I'm currently in a level II class at USTA in Flushing. I live in Astoria and would love to get some more practice in. I would be interested in playing some week day evenings or on the weekends. Let me know if you are interested.
Hi Angeliki! It's great to have you here!
I see you already joined a Group – fantastic - introduce yourself in there to meet people for matches.
Please Invite your buddies. We’re trying to reach 20,000 members by Wimbledon. :-)
If you need any help, let me know.
Welcome to the fun and infectious "community-based" tennis website which connects players, fans, coaches and pros.
To get started, pleaseupload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.
If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, Join the group in your area and introduce yourself in there. Some groups have regular meeting times and some are more one-on-one and flexible. If there’s no group in your area yet, start a group page for your town and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle.
Angeliki, sorry for the late reply. I didn't even know you left me a msg. LOL! USTA is in flushing. Take 7 to Shea stadium and you will see it. This is where they play the US OPEN. By the way, Angela, Dan, and I will be playing there this Sunday at 11am. Let me know if you will like to join us. It should be a beautiful day. Don't worry about the different level. I am will be happy to hit some w/ you and help you out on the game.
