I prefer the ankle high Nike socks because they are thin and they absorb well. I even wear them with my Adidas shoes. Brand waffling, I know. Well, I'm loyal to either brand. ;)

Such a timely discussion. My dad is old school die-hard, and contacted Thorlo (for the 4th time) to complain that they got rid of their tradmark thick stripe. The employee there said that she had some old overstock in the back and said she could send him some. He bought many a pair, and gave me 4 pair for xmas! Woot!

I knew someone here would mention Thorlos. I liked them in high school and saved money to have a few pairs of those.

I wear the Starter brand low-cut moisture wicking ones. Seems the same sock as the Adidas/Nike ones at 1/4 the price.

(BTW, just moved this from Pro section to Equip.)
I've been wearing somewhat thin Adidas socks lately (cant recall the name), but I've like them. I used to wear thick socks, but not sure if I need that.

Gertrude Stein sock syndrome. Nah, just kidding. I wear regular generic brand socks when I run out of my name brand socks.

Hey, sounds like a good deal. If they're the same sock, then use them. Who really cares about the label?

I just got a pair of under armour socks from tennis wherehouse. I'm gonna try them tonight, I'll let you know what i think. They better be good, they're 12 bucks for 2 pair!!!
