Looks very cool. Too bad I'm a Head Prestige Mid guy. lol

BTW, it is still a 90 head for those that recommend Fed go to a 93/95/98 headsize.

Tim, that's a really nice looking racquet, leather grip and all. How did you get the inside scoop? I wonder if it's the same as the Six.One Tour BLX that Federer uses now, just different paint scheme.

I read a thread on the Tennis Warehouse forum board. At first, it looked like the thread was started by a joking troll. But then I saw another promo picture with Federer at a promo table, with the racquet there.

The racquet is supposedly different than the BLX, with a lighter 12.0 ounce weight. But the balance is 12 pts HL. I do not know if he's using it for the US Open.

I like the racquet! I don't think he will be switching now unless he has been using it to practice after his early exit at Cinci. Have any of our members taken any pictures of him practicing in NY?
I think I like the bottom of the throat where the handle meets. It is plain white and the gold triangle which says "90". Reminds me of the old ceramic racquets in the late 80s made by Prince and Dunlop.

Appears to be the same mold, just different paint.  But may have different material make up.  thanks for posting this Tim - any idea whether it is just a new PJ?
It might be a slightly different mold but sure looks the same. It's said to play much differently but it is still using the BLX volcanic basalt material.
I cant wait to get mine!
I'm gonna check the Westwood shop where Sampras strings his racquet. They usually get next year's racquets in a little early. Maybe next month I'll get the demo.

You go there too?  ;-)  Love those guys @ the Westwood Sporting Goods.

The racket is not supposed to be out 'til beginning of next year.

Yeah, I've bought Volkls and Boris Becker racquets from them. Also got those refurbished demos from them cheap! They let me hold Sampras blacked out racquet. :)
