Federer - New Racket, New Coach. How will he do in 2014?
Here's his doubles match with Mahut. I'm waiting to see how he does in singles. Hopefully, Brisbane will put it up later tomorrow

I'm not sure about the specs Mark but the headsize is a more forgiving 98 sq in. Maybe Tim or Coach V can shed a light on the new rac specs.
He won his second doubles match with Mahut in three very close sets.

New Racquet Specs
Most likely its a 95 Version with a different string pattern.
They have gone back to the Kevlar And braided Graphite.
if its a 98 IT will be like my old Prokennex Type c ( sliver one not the redondo crap )

i think its hilarious that everyone else is playing with the 2014 versions of wilson Racquets and Fed is on a Tester

Without getting too hung up in the new Wilson stick, I think and hope Fed has a redemption year - and that means, sadly, making it back into the top 4. His life has changed; 3 kids now and the wife and other interests start to take over. Tennis is not as big as it seemed before. His charitable foundation will be more important in the coming years.

He will do just great! A few days ago he won his 7th Halle crown and I'm sure he's pretty serious about winning Wimbledon!
