I was wondering if we could get a group of Tennisopolis members to go to the great Indian Wells tournament. If we can agree on a day or two, it would be really cool to hang out and have a ball.
The dates are March 5-18. It is free on the first day. There's lots of food vendors, beer garden, tennis equipment and clothing vendors, opportunities to get player signatures (I got Laver and Nadal) test out racquets on a real court at Tennis Warehouse tent, fast gun radar, nice picnic type grass in front of a giant video monitor...
Mark Mayor, the Tennisopolis creator, will be there and we're looking to have a hit on a local tennis court as well. Love to play doubles with a bunch of people!

Wow! Well, that sounds like a great routine to do every year. Must be fun!
Hi! I am looking to go to the free sessions on 3/5 and/or 3/6. I am in Riverside by the 215 and Van Buren. I am not familiar with all the extra activities that go on there but just there for the (free) tennis. Email me at email@example.com if you are nearby and interested in going as well.
I will be going to the free qualie on Friday the 9th with two guys in my car, most likely. I have room for perhaps two more guys in my car from the Inland Empire area.
So glad you posted this! I just realized today is the 5th and see that the women's draw is today. I am more interested in the men's draw tomorrow and am available if anyone wants to go or carpool. I am currently in Yucaipa so the drive is not too long. Would love to get Nadal's autograph. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Ah, yes! Steve Tennis and I are planning on going tomorrow, leaving around 10 am from Moreno Valley. I would be driving to Steve's place from San Bernardino and then we would go from there. Are you closest to the 10, because I think we're coming through the 60.
Great! I am right off the 10. I could meet you guys in Banning/Beaumont off the 60 and the 10 somewhere. Would that work? Or, I could park at the Cabazon Outlets and meet you guys there.
Sounds good to me! Would be great to get a group together. I have a tennis partner that also may go to. We'd have four!
I could actually go on the 6th and the 9th. Tim, I see you are going on the 9th. What day is best to get autographs?
Any day is good to get autographs, if the player want is willing and security allows you to get close. I got Laver's autograph three years ago on my jacket sleeve, then got Nadal's signature on the other jacket sleeve last year. :)
They always have a couple of organized autograph sessions every day. I got Isner's at one of these events. Otherwise, you just catch the players as they head from the matches or practice courts.
So I had a wonderful time with Steve Tennis and Connie watching the qualifying round and the last free day.First, I got to see TIpsarevic practice, and then Fish and Querrey.
Then saw Amer Delic win his match. He is like drinking Diet Federer. lol The backhand looks the same. The forehand sorta the same but without the action. Heck, he even looks like him.
Then onto Andreev/Smyczek, not there long. Onwards to Monfils practice and skid all over the place, then saw Dologopolov serve up close. Insanely quick motion when you're twenty feet away.
Lastly, saw Gasquet practice with Tsonga, with Davydenko warming up, then Lisicki.
Thanks for driving, Steve! You're the best.
I'm getting getting jealous! Tomorrow is our drive day!
