Overthinking on the court!

Posted on March 7, 2008 at 1:44pm 3 Comments

So, we had beautiful weather here yesterday. I dragged a friend over to the courts so that I could practice what I have been learning from all the wonderful people on this site! (and by the way, thankyou!) Well, at first, I had so many new things in my head that I think I overwhelmed myself...okay, I am a natural blond and that does happen alot! Anyway, instead of trying to force every move to be perfect, which only made me stiff and unable to respond well, I just took one thing at a time and… Continue

Multitasking!!

I never "blogged" before, but here goes nothing! I am so excited! I went over to the courts last night to hit with a group of friends, and for the first time, I actually was able to put thought into my game....does that make sense? Instead of simply hitting the ball back to the other person, I was able to focus on where I wanted the ball to go. Instead of simply running up or back to meet the ball, I was able to think about my approach and how I wanted to hit the ball! Okay, this may sound… Continue

Hi Amy, how's the tennis game going? I've missed you around here.

Just wanted to point you to a couple of fun groups that popped up.
My Racket, What's Yours?? is a place to show off your weapon of choice.
Prince Players, We Got Next set up by Prince, Inc.
Fans of Serena - obvious title, but I'm not joining. ;-)

Amy,

Hi there!
I posted a general message about this in the discussion group,
on tennisoplis but since you are the organizer of the group, I wanted to send you a personal message. My name is Jonathan and as a hobby I string tennis racquets (I also love playing tennis of course). I have several years of stringing
experience (my dad was a tennis pro so I grew up stringing
racquets), own a top of the line machine, offer the best prices around, and can get your racquet back to you within 24 hours.

I string for many people in the Atlanta/Dunwoody area but I am trying to grow my hobby and string for more people. I would love to be of service to you and your tennis friends. It looks like you play lots of tennis, so if you ever need your racquet re-strung, please give me a try! Thanks Amy!

Hey,
I am somewhere between a beginner and intermediate. Would love to hit some balls and play during the work week. Let me know if you are interested. I live in Snellvile and work in Covington. Anywhere in and around Decatur works best for me.
Thanks,
Bala

Hi Amy!

We do not currently attend any shows. We will once our other company's cages are back in production - Liberty Cage Company. We were just awarded a utility patent - this month! We use cockatoos as test birds for the cages - with good reason!
