I just went to the Racquet Doctor and saw Dunlop's Gecko Tac grip for $2.99. I said to myself, "Hey, why not? It's just three bucks." Just wonderful stuff. It is thin (first requirement) and not puffy like Yonex Super Grap or Tournagrip. Second, it is tackier than Wilson Pro or Gamma Supreme. I have super dry hands so tacky and thin are my preferences. What's yours?

I am currently using a Solinco brand, but not sure what it is. Solinco Wonder? It's green, but the Solinco site doesn't have green listed, so I'm not sure. Tackier than Wilson Pro, and so far lasts longer. I tried Tournatac, which is nice and tacky, but no durability whatsoever.
Wonder? Now that's a silly name. lol
I know, right? I would have opted for Vice Overgrip, or Death Overgrip, or Iron Overgrip. But hey, it's not my brand, so, there you go.
I've been using tournagrips but I just bought a 30 pack of the Wilson whites. I will try those Dunlop's when i visit Tennis Express. You guys always have the best equipment ideas :). Oh BTW loving the Prince NEOS. Just strung my 4th racquet (3 of mine and one for my gf)
Neos is bulletproof. I did 500+ racquets in two years on Neos. Clamps needed a little adjustment, glide rails needed a little light lubrication, but nothing else.
Have you tried Prince Duratac? You might like that grip. It's similar to what you described as your preference, thin and fairly firm.
Yes, I used Prince's other grip "Microtac" because it was on sale for $0.99 for three. lol A pretty nice grip right there too. And it lasts. The other one I had success with is the Boris Becker/ Volkl V-tac overgrips. They're all pretty good!
