Women's 'Grand Slam'??
I'm just curious how you can call a standard best of 3 sets tour event a 'Grand Slam'? Shouldn't there be something extra here? A tougher test of some sort? How about 8 game sets instead of 6?

There used to be 5 setters with Virgina Slims from 1984-1998. Check out the list of champions here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WTA_Tour_Championships
Navratilova won 5 and Graf won 5 of them.
