Where is there a cheap place for tennis strings and restringing around UCSB? I know that Sports Authority does it and Goleta Tennis Shop did when they were still open. But I can't find a cheap place to get my racquets restrung.

I like to buy my string online. tenniswarehouse.com or midwestsports.com. The prince duraflex are great strings and very  affordable. I string my raccquet at Carp sports for like 15-20 with my own strings...not too close to ucsb though. The owner there is way cool, he use to be a pro.

Shoot i was just in the area this morning, i string in the SGV area, but im there every once in awhile, and i sell string too super cheap

I bought some pro hurricane strings and I don't really want to pay 15-20 dollars for a stringing job when I'm providing my own string. Is there anywhere else? Also, Carp is pretty far from UCSB :\
how does ten bucks sound bud? my friend is coming down from sb this weekend to my area u can drop the racket off wit hthem and get it back sunday night if that works for u ?? same deal goes to you matt!

My first post, yay!  :)

I used to go to Goleta Sports too. I'd recommend Chris DeVaux. He's a USRSA stringer and uses the string machine over at the Las Positas courts. Not expensive like some of the other fancy shops around here. Chris' number is 805-252-2486.
