Andy Murray, just won the Cincy tournament after beating Djokovic in the final.  It is true that Nole retired due to mental and physical fatigue, but that is part of the game.  Can Murray finally do it?   Seems like now would be the time to strike;  Rafa and Fed are not entirely on top of their game.  Nole is worn out from all the miles on his body from his incredible winning streak.   Murray may be ready, you think?

I like his game because it's steady, but that's pretty much all he's got.. I just don't think he has the mental fortitude to win a slam at this time.  There's no doubt he can play, and he can score big, but he's 0 for 3 in slam finals because he becomes a totally different player when he gets there--very "amateurish" and childish.  The draw would have to open up for him to win.  He suffered a first round loss just weeks ago and that's just how it is with him right now.  He still can't string a consistent run--he still has good days, and bad days that he can't overcome..  He needs to figure out a way to win, even on bad days.  That's something that Novak has figured out, and certainly, Nadal knows how to step it up.  To answer your question, NO!  He's not ready.  Now, is he ever going to win a Slam?  I think so, but it'll never be in Europe.
I doubt he can keep his game together for two weeks. He's really weak in between the ears and he breaks down whenever he gets to the final. I don't know what it is but he just doesn't show up. I'd like Mardy to come up with the goods at the USO.
