The reason the BLX 98 feels sluggish is the balance of 2 pts HL. Any racquet that is light (10.9 range) and is balanced head heavy in this way to create power, will create much more shock to the arm than the traditional balance of either 5-8 pts HL. There is a great article on this somewhere on the internet which showed almost double the shock rating for these kinds of racquet among well known manufacturers.
