Coming from the original ProStaff then nCode. I am in the hunt for an update to the sword. ;-)

What I have tried so far:

Six.one tour: love the feel but a little too heavy for me. Need to lift more weights or start to shoot with a 400mm f2.8 lens, handheld. :-p

Aero Pro Drive GT: much lighter and maneuverable. Like the solid frame feel of the six.one more. Also, I can see that I would change my stroke a little with this lighter racket.

Donnay x blue: actually feels really good to me. Kind of a compromise between six.one and aero pro drive GT. Solid frame which I like.

Next round of demo:
Pure storm GT, pure storm limited GT, x black and x red (Donnay)

Had a brief time with last year's pure storm GT and I like it. I think it might be my next racket.

What do you think? Suggestions and recommendations?

If you liked the APDGT and the Six-One, you might want to try the BLX Pro Open.  It's very similar to the APDGT, but has that BLX stability you might be after, so perhaps the best of both worlds.  It's worth a demo.

Will demo it the next time.  I also thought the six.one team might be a possible candidate too.
finally got the demo rackets here.  didn't get to put a lot of time in yet.  but i am liking the xblack more than xred.  xblack is heavier but actually feels really good hitting with it.  will be putting more time on the four rackets over the weekend.......
I tried the Donnays at Indian Wells BNP and thought they played alot like my Youtek Prestige Mid, maybe a little smoother. If I had the money, I would try the Black  or Blue 94.
I liked these new Donnay x series rackets. I think I am going to settle for the pure storm GT limited. It will give this old man here a little power and still retain most of the feels. Slight adjustments in my hitting style would be needed, but not too much of a stretch.
I liked the Pure Storm Tour GT better than the Limited version. I didn't like the teardrop shape and seemed really dead on the top third.
If anything give the blx95 or 90 a try. The balance is a tad different than the K series, but it does feel a bit softer.
Decided on the AeroPro Drive GT Roland Garros edition. There's no looking back now. :-)
how about this look at the head size on the racket you have. now consider the racket you should have has a bigger head. what is the size of the racket between the 2 of them.considering all the things you like in a rack of course.
