The problem is that he doesn't follow those wins up with anything else.  He is sporadic.  The powers that be at the USTA have been trying for years to get him away from his parents so that he can train properly.  Has he done that yet?  Or will he always be the amazing junior that faded off into the sunset?
i agree. i thought he should have gone to college instead of jumping to the pros. he would been better off today if he stayed in college. allow him to mature, develop his game more and get that degree if things don't work out for him on the tour level.
Right now he is being man-handled by Frank Dancevic from Canada.  At least anyways, they are in the third set.  But the second set was at 1.  It is that type of thing he doesn't seem to do, follow up a good win with wins over those he should be beating.
So today he goes down to Denis Isotomin.  Nothing glamorous about that loss.  Lame.  Very disappointing.
Yeah, looks like he just had a good day against Murray.  I heard later that Clement is off form right now, losing to everyone.
This guy has been scrutinized for a couple years now.  Mom and Dad have too tight a reign on the strings.  He needs to break away before it gets to be too late.  There was tons of hope that he would do great things.  It is really too bad.  Just another testament that kids, parents and tennis doesn't mix.
