Not shaking your opponent's hand at the net!!! Do you have to, need to or want to?
I watch a women doubles tournament where the ladies had few arguments on court where their had to be a line judge and kinda quiet the ladies down a little but after the match the did not shake hands at all. I assumed these ladies played each other before in the past. But is it a must to shake hands? It was bad sportsmanship on both teams.

I was about to go to bed, but then I saw this. I was always brought up and taught to ALWAYS shake my opponents hand at the end of any match. I think it's bad sportsmanship not to. Even if you lose, win, or even argue during the match. It's just the right thing to do. Maybe just squeeze their hand extra tight if you aren't too fond of them lol. It's funny that you brought this up. I went to a tournament in Stockton not too long ago. I ran into a person that I know, (you've me him too) and I was watching him play. It was match point and the person that I'm talking about was in danger of losing on this match point. He hit an over head which carried about a foot long past the baseline. The gentleman called the ball "out". Which it definitely WAS. My acquaintance shouted, "are you kidding me, on match point you call that out"? Then he refused to shake his opponents hand. I was shocked and embarrassed to even be associated with this guy. A reminder of what I don't want to look like on the court. It's a bad look.

If you don't like the person, during the hand shake, just squeeze their hand as hard as you can till you hear their bones crackle. hahahaha!!! It's he gentleman's way of saying,"ef you!"

I have Been in some matches where i wanted to quit they played so bad or made the worse calls we both did the speed of light hand shake were you couldn't see it but if there was an option i wouldn't have, But iam glad the rule is there because that's the one part of the game for one second I have to forget about winning or loosing and perform this ritual and show some
