This may be a tall order to fill, but as I'm just coming back from being off the court for over 8 months (following an ACL reconstructive surgery 4 months ago after tearing up my knee on the court), I'm just looking for a hitting partner who can keep a consistent rally going (pref. high 3.5+, as I can't be running around too much, yet) and in due time, we can build up to heavier paced hitting/footwork.
If you live in the East Bay or don't mind coming out this way, please drop me a line! I am available to hit during the weekdays anytime after 10a until around 5p.

HI Jen,
Todd here.
I live in concord/clayton area (Crossings) and the HOA here has ..something like eight private courts. Real nice condition. Anyway.. I use to play often butit's been a while. I'd say I'm 3.5 at my worst and with a little time, I'd like to bring that up. I too could use some stright rally work and some focused drills would be good to.
Days are fine as long as we have it set a day or two in advance. I'm really looking forward to getting backout there.
Get back to me if you want to hit the courts sometime this week. It can be at public courts as well of course. We can start slow and see how we both hold up..especially you and your knee.

I am also in Concord, Consistant hitter but a tad rusty - not sure what I would be rated at.. Are you available after 5 or only during the day? You can call or email me..kari..I'm good for Wed and Fri eves. Sans tomorrow night.
I've been out of the game for a bit myself, and I'd love to hit some rallys. When I was playing a lot, I was a solid 4.0. Now I'm probably a 3.5+ :) I live in the El Cerrito area.

I know this might be tough to find people to hit with, but I'm hoping to find people who might be able to hit during the weekday before 5p (anywhere in the East Bay) and/or I'd prefer to hit at Washington Park in Alameda if it's later into the evening. Hope you are able and thanks to those who responded...Let's try for sometime next week!
Hi Jen! Just came across this posting recently. I am a Physical Therapist working in Alameda ( a block away from Washington Park) every Monday, and I often play tennis there on my lunch break or immediately after work (right around 4:30 pm). I play in the 3.0 and 3.5 USTA leagues (currently 6.5 combo doubles) out in Fremont, but I would say I could be more accurately rated 3.5 at the moment as I consistently beat strong 3.5 and weak 4.0 players lately.
I'm always looking for a partner to hit with at Washington Park during those hours so let me know if that might be a fit with you. I also know a lot about ACL tear and rehabilitation so feel free to ask questions if you have any. No charge! Ha ha.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you. God bless!
Hey Jen, I was trying to reply to this thread but I think I wrote on your wall instead, haha. Anyway, how is your knee? If you wanna just hit around or need a fourth, let me know. This Sat, i am pretty much free and would travel to Alameda (if need be) for tennis. See ya! Ken
PS: my work schedule varies from wk to wk and so sometimes on weekdays I am free in the mornings to hit.
