Please let me know what you think about the site and the overall fantasy tennis experience. I tried to make this fun for all levels of fans, but I think that the approach also allows more knowledgeable fans will do better. Our Australian Open fantasy tennis event starts when the draw sheet is released on January 14th, 2010. I welcome all comments and suggestions.
We just started the Wimbledon 2010 fantasy game. We have some great new features, like the ability to create leagues to compete against your friends and family. I am very interested in constructive feedback, so please give it a try and let me know what you think. Remember to make your team before the first match starts this Monday. Thanks!
Thanks for the feedback Mark. At first we were only going to have people put a team together at the beginning of the tournament, but then it seemed a bit uneventful to just sit back and watch how your team does. So we decided to add in match predictions starting with the 4th round (you need to pick who will win each match once the players advance in the draw). It does require people to keep up a bit, but we have a feature that automatically selects the higher seeded or ranked player if you forget to make a prediction. This way people can still do very well even if they are away from a computer for a few days.
We also just added in leagues so that people can create a public or private league and challenge friends and family. This is turning out to be a very popular feature.
For anyone who does not have an account, we will have another fantasy event for the US Open so feel free to sign up now if you would like to be notified when the draw sheets are released.
