Hi Teo,

I am looking to get back into sports after a year of injury, and it's nice to start with a friendly face. You could also benefit from my past experiences as both player and coach.

I live in Waikiki and I just started playing tennis the last couple of days at the Diamond Head courts. I am self employed and go to school part time. Evenings are better for me if you want to play.

Hi, I am advanced beginner, 59 yo. Haven't played for 10 years. Am here for the winter from Wyoming. I am good athlete and in good shape. Am retired, so can play on your schedule and any location good for you. I live in Kanehohe and have access to nice courts in condos here. Right now, just looking for some one to volley with to get me started. Jim

Hello,
Do you play doubles? I'm looking for a partner to play doubles against my high school buddies. We are three local guys mid-30's who play for fun, exercise, and low-stress competition. I am in Honolulu till end of June 2009 and need a partner to playfully crush my buddies.
Two of us are married, the other in a serious relationship...nothing crazy about us, not interested in hook-ups just lots of tennis fun.
We're professionals, honest, good people.
We are about 3.0-4.0 level.
Let me know if you're interested. We usually play at Ala Moana Park, but are open to Hawaii Kai, Kahala, Diamond Head areas as well.
We usually play for a prize, like shave ice, ice cream or dessert.

Hi John, I am a beginner. So crushing your high school buddies in out of the question....even if it's playful crushing. But I do have friends who may be interested. They are a lot better than I am.

Sure thing...if any of your friends are interested, please forward my posting. Oh yeah, we are always willing to play tennis with any tennis player at all levels, even beginners. The main point is to get exercise! We haven't played in over two years so it's not like we're awesome or anything remotely close.
Anyways...hopefully we will see you on the court. Plus, doubles is a lot of fun...you can really improve your volley game at the net! Plus, winning a shave ice from Waiola Store or a waffle ice cream cone from Bubbies is always an incentive.

Not sure if you have a found a tennis group to hit with yet if you ahve I wild like to join and hit some balls or maybe some doubles. I am intermediate player but have not played for awhile looking to get back into it. I am free mornings or early evenings after 5 or 6. I Iive in town so any courts are alright with me.
