Hi everyone.  I am a 5.0 player living in West Hollywood.  I'm looking for legit 4.5+ players.  I would prefer a 5.0 like myself but that's been hard to come by.  I'm looking for 4.5+ because I haven't played much the last few months due to injury and might be a little rusty.

With that said, if you say you're a 4.5+ you should be able to hold your own in a tournament or be able to keep up with a college player.  I'm not looking for someone who played a couple years in high school and plays everyone once in a while on the weekend.  I'd like to play sets and really work out.

I haven't used these boards in a while because it didn't go so well in the past, many people don't seem to know what their actual rating is, assume they're better than they are or thought there couldn't be that big of a difference and they could keep up and it led to more than a few unenjoyable experiences.  If that ends up happening again I can't promise I won't just walk away after 10 min.  Not to be a jerk but I've felt taken too many times and don't want to waste time again.

I will say though, I will make exceptions for incredibly cute and good looking women. ;)

Thanks for your time and have a great one everyone.

Hey Dave,

Randomly saw this post online. I've moved to LA recently and have been looking to start hitting again, yea its hard to find descent players around....

I don't really pay much attention to ratings, and never gotten one myself. Guessing 5.0+ But I graduated from University of Portland in 2012, were I played all four years Div.1.

Would be great to get a hit in sometime.

Cheers,
Bryan

hello bryan. i live in beverly hills and have a court at my house we could play at. im around a 5.0 or higher. i just sent you a friend request message me if youre down to play.

Hi Dave--

I too have been looking for someone in the 4.5 - 5.0 range to hit with.  I live in Laurel Canyon and play mostly in the mornings (esp. in the summer) and usually at Poinsettia Park or Plummer.  But I can do weekends too.  I've been playing for a long time and would love to find someone who could beat me (every now and then.)

Let me know if you're interested in giving it a try--

Hi Justin - sounds good - unfortunately I injured my back over the weekend and I'll probably be out for a week or so, but I'll give you a shout when I'm feeling better.

Hi Dave, I'm directing a tennis tournament here at Fremont Park in Glendale on October 3 & 4. I'm looking for more 5.0 doubles players to join. Please let me know if you and your friends are interested in joining. I'm willing to extend the entry deadline to accommodate more players. This is a very competitive not-for-profit tournament that we do annually. My phone # is 310 991 2896. Thanks. Brian Bailey
