Hi Wayne, my 11 year old son plays tennis and he has been since he was about 7. His strokes are really nice, but he has struggled in close matches. Because of this, he seems to have lost interest in playing competitively. It seems he would prefer not to play than to play and lose. Did you ever have this issue with your boys? And is this something that he can overcome? Right now, he enjoys playing middle school tennis and USTA Junior Team Tennis, but does not like tournaments. What is your advice?
