Hey all, I moved to Houston a few months ago and haven't touched a racket in about 6 months and will invariably be rusty.  I played in HS and college for a DII school for a couple years before I quit about a year ago.  I've recently really been wanting to get back on the court on a consistent basis and get back in shape a bit.  I rate as a 5.0 but I will be rusty at first but I usually can pick it back up pretty quickly.  I am in the Rice Village area but would be willing to move around to find places to play, I work bizarre rotating hours that change weekly so it would be a case by case basis on what times I could play!

Hi Nick,

First of all, welcome to Houston!  I am a professional coach and I organize tennis activity all around the greater Houston area.  I will be hosting a 4.5 and 5.0 weekend afternoon mixer tournament at Memorial Park Tennis Center in the near future.  When set my date I will send you an invitation.  How long do you plan to stay in Houston?  You might want to sign up for the waiting list for my Flextennis league.  It's the perfect program for someone with crazy work hours.

I will stay in touch.
