This week marks the start of the Olympus US Open Series as first round matches start in Atlanta, Georgia at the Atlantic Tennis Championships on July 18th. If you're still clinging to the clay court season, you'll be happy to learn the ATP World Tour event in Hamburg, Germany is being played on the red stuff. There's only one women's tournament this week and that's in Baku, Azerbaijan on hard courts. Maybe by the end of the week I'll be able to spell Azerbaijan from memory.
