The last time Lleyton Hewitt beat Roger Federer was in 2003, in Melbourne Australia. That was a long time ago. It must suck to always be in the same draw as Roger, especially if you have lost the last 13 meetings. How do you prepare? I mean it must be so hard to be Hewitt at a time like this, homeground, cheered on by the whole crowd. This is your chance, this is your turn to show the world that you can do it, you really can. Can you imagine the pressure he must be feeling? The questions asked during pre-match interviews: "What will you do this time? Do you have a gameplan? Is it possible to have a gameplan against Federer? Hit as hard as you can and don't go for consistency, go for the lines. I really do want to believe that Lleyton has the chance, I'm a big fan of him and if there's someone I can accept Roger loosing against it is this guy. It would just be great to see him get far. But he never does nowadays, not in the big tournaments, because somwhere along the run, some guy named Roger Federer will stand in the way and ruin the day.
What is Lleyton doing wrong?
- Hitting to short?
- Serving too bad?
Is it possible for him to ever beat Roger Federer again? What do you guys think?
