So i was anxious and excited about second usta match and like previous matches that seem to "count" (in this case for myself and my team.. along with a onlookers watching) I seem to over analyze (or worry) about my game plan and such since I've never met the person or his style of play. Well, it turns out that the other team defaulted on #2 singles spot which was me and at that point, I was relieved of my anxious symptoms .. .but also bummed out that i couldn't play.. But one thing that struck a chord is that why it was my match that got cancelled and not other teammates.... The reason i ask is that I play in this league that spans quite far in state of washington and it's very well organized and seems that when i coordinate matches lot of times theres lot of cancellation, noshows, or excuses.. I probally cancel sometimes also (do to anxiety, fatigue, or other priority that shows up) but not as me being the one that is cancelled.... So i was thinking maybe the other team saw that i play on the league and backed down or got intimidated.... Of course I'm not here trying to be cocky and implying i'm really good etc... My middle name is actually mr.choker but I'm thinking they see that i play a lot in the league (which i try to do) and think i'm someone that's got everything under control... Or maybe i'm just paranoid right now and over analyzing way to much just like all my prematch jitters.. :)
