Just joined today!

I found this site completely by accident, and I think it's just what I'm looking for. Watching the French Open highlights has re-sparked my interest in playing. Too bad for me my friends are not into tennis, and I can't drag my 11 year old daughter to play with me!

I played a lot in high school (obviously that was a LONG time ago - heck we used wood rackets still!), I was 3rd on my team in singles and lettered in Tennis. I was also the #1 doubles team with my best friend Tom. I had a pretty powerful, albeit inconsistent serve. I love my backhand the best! I really like playing coed doubles because although it can get pretty competitive, it's a notch down from singles, which I get WAY too competitive at!

I'm 49, separated and divorcing. I'm not here to date, but wouldn't rule that out as I think tennis is a great first-date. I'm really looking to find some fun people to hit with that love the game and can play consistently. I never want to get away from the game again!
