Thomas C replied to Mike Yau's discussion 'Where is my confidence?'
"I think you should take a look at the book" Inner Tennis". It will teach you methods to not judge all your shots and if you are not judging you will not feel pressure. I read this book 20 years ago and find myself going back to it all the…"

Thomas C replied to tennisbuddys's discussion 'Achilles tendinitis - best remedy and best tennis shoes - Anyone? Help!'
"For the past 3 years my achilles is sore after being on the court for about 1.5 hours. If I can sit down between games it goes away for a while also it goes away around 15 minutes after I stop playing. I am starting to try some stretching exercise…"

Thomas C replied to Tim Prapong's discussion 'Nadal's actual racquet shown and his specs!'
"That makes sense If Rafa was using the out of the box Aeropro Drive I am sure he would have tennis elbow. Unfortunately most players think he is using the actual Aeropro Drive which is a lot stiffer than what he actually uses."

Thomas C replied to Tim Prapong's discussion 'Question: To use a stiffer/slightly lighter racquet or a flexible/heavier racquet?'
"Flexible heavy racquets are ideal for control, feel, touch and avoiding arm injuries. They may lack power but you can make up for that with an elastic string at a low tension.       http://tenniselbowracquet.com"

Thomas C replied to Tim Prapong's discussion 'Question: To use a stiffer/slightly lighter racquet or a flexible/heavier racquet?'
"A flexible heavier racquet is much better for your arm and has better control, touch and feel. . A heavy racquet can still be maneuverable and fast at the net if it has a head light balance; the balance does more for maneuverability than actual…"

Thomas C replied to J's discussion 'What is your main racquet of choice?'
"I used the Prince Pro Tour for 4 years and since they stopped making it, I just replaced it with the Prince ex03 tour. I love the contol, feel touch and accuracy I do keep the string tension a little bit lower to help with the power."

Thomas C replied to Tim Prapong's discussion 'What is your "most wanted 2012 racquet"?'
"I agree the Head IG Prestige Pro is a great racquet, but I like the HEAD Youtek IG Prestige MP a little better it is just a slightly lighter and more flexible. I find the feel and control better and its more manueverable."
