Hi Sheri, this forum seems to be dead so I'm not sure if you'll read this message. Let me know if you are still interested in playing. I live in Pasadena but my business is located in the Southbay area. I set my own time so morings are good for me; afternoons are just too darn hot these days.

Ditto to this group appearing to be completely inactive. But just in case... I am involved in regular doubles round robins here in Torrance (pretty much the same people in all of them though), and would like to hit with different people and hopefully work on my singles game. New doubles partners or hitting partners are cool too.

Hey there Sheri, I live in North Redondo, looking to play, for now I don't have a job so can play pretty much whenever, let me know if you want to play. I have seen a bunch of courts around so getting an open one should not be a problem:) See ya!

Hi Sheri,

I am in South Redondo as well and around the same level. I am available mornings, days, and weekends. Prefer not to play at night. Give me a call if you would like to practice. Alta Vista is where I usually play, but any nearby spot with courts is fine with me. Alta vista also rents ball machines which are great for working on skills.

I too am looking for daytime players.
I am not as young as I once was, but am young at heart.
I have not played for one or two years, but when I was playing it was a group at night. I held my own with the young.
I would have rated myself at that time as a 4.0. I am rusty, but should get my "groove" back quickly.
I also taught tennis at a private school, and would love to play with beginners and maybe help them with their game.

I'm a USTA 3.5 benchmark rated player. I live between San Francisco and Redondo Beach and would like to join in doubles, mixed doubles, or possibly singles. I'm playing on weekends with a really nice bunch of guys in Manhattan Beach and El Segundo but would like to play fun tennis or drills and groundstrokes on weekdays/evenings, with the goal of burning calories and keeping the weight off. I am no longer interested in playing competitive leagues or tournaments (but can be an emergency replacement player as long as we're playing for fun.) I will be back in Redondo Beach around December 9th-10th.

Check out the RR's at Alta Vista in RB. A solid 3.5 should join the A/B groups. Also, the Singles Challenge on Saturday's may interest you. Good luck.

Hi Sheri, I'm in North Redondo. I am looking for another intermediate woman player to rally witth weekdays during the day, late mornings work best, I can also arrange early afternoons. I can play anywhere in the south bay, mostly go to live oak park in manhattan beach. I would rate myself at around 3.0 so you're probably better than me, but we can try and see...let me know if interested...
