Is there subway station near by the astoria park? I'm at Long Island City and not too far but still not easy to get there without public transportation. I'd love to play there with somebody definitely though!

In Sunnyside but can travel easily about 3.0 but need to practice... can sometimes do early before work (7am) after work and weekends. I also enjoy practicing with rallies, returning serves singles and/or doubles...

How about this coming Tuesday AM? I hope to have my car by then, so it should make it easier for me than waiting for the bus. What time are you thinking? Before the work day like 7AM or around 10AM?

I am a really rusty but consistent hitter looking to get back into tennis after 12 years off. I used to play competitively back in the day but am overweight with my tournament days behind me. Looking to hit, run around, have fun, and meet new people. My real goal is to shed some weight and keep me motivated to exercise instead of just going to the gym. I think I'm around a 4.5 now if I were to guess.

If you need a good hitting partner, I am available 7 days a week, in summer or winter.

I am a 5.0 player, extremely consistent. You will be hitting a lot.

I had several years of teaching experience as USPTA certified tennis coach.

This session is just for hitting with me, but I can give you some advice if you desire.

I am looking for someone or a group to hit with around the 3.0 to 3.5 range. I am located in Forest Hills. But, I can hit anywhere. I would like to set up a few regular slots per week.

New to the group. My name is Hari and I just moved a block from Astoria Park. Haven't played regular tennis in some time, so I am probably 2.5-3.0, but I used to be pretty good when I was younger. I am looking for hitting partners and, once we are comfortable, casual sets/matches. Give me a ring anytime; I hope to play more tennis in 2010.
