WTA Year-End Championship

I just got to see my first of these matches; and what a treat it was.  Radwanska fought off match points and came back and beat Zvonareva - who from now on should be called ZvonaNerva.  If Aggie R can win her next match against Kvitova, she will make the semis!  What a fighter she is; not too many weapons but greeeeaaat defense.

Yeah, I saw the Radwanska defense against Woz in that youtube vid I put up. She's got instincts! 

Am I wrong but the last time I saw Kvitova, she didn't play so well? 

Tennisbum got me those free tickets into Indian Wells compliments of the Radwanska camp. I watched her play Azarenka.

Aga is a crafty player.  Her new coach Wiktorowski (Polish Fed Cup captain) is also making a difference for her.  With the new coach, she's won her first title in two years this summer at Carlsbad.  Always cheering for her to do well.  ;-)

 

Kvitova got in the WTA's post Grand Slam champion slump after winning Wimbledon.  Looks like she's playing better again at Istanbul.

Kvitova is looking good.  As is Azarenka.  I'm rooting for Aggie, Azarenka and maybe a little for Li too.

Yeah, thanks again, Tony! I've never been to Indian Wells twice in the same year so it was a real treat for me.

Well, I'll keep an eye to Kvitova again then.
